The BERLIN PHOTO WEEK brings again this year a colorful mix of well-known and young photographers, artists and experts of different disciplines on the stages.
We will publish more talks with all speakers on this page ongoing. But we already want to give you a small insight into the topics.
This year we have two big stages:
The open Plaza Stage in the center of the hall, accessible to all visitors of the BERLIN PHOTO WEEK.
The closed Conference Stage, where we will present more specific topics on Friday and Saturday and which is only open with the conference ticket.
The Plaza Stage
The PLAZA STAGE in the middle of our venue Arena Berlin is open for all festival visitors with valid normal day passes and does not need a special Conference Ticket. We have a huge variety of talks. Mixed in German and English.
Our Moderator: ShaNon Bobinger
ShaNon Bobinger is a media presenter and systemic life and business coach. the focus of her presenting is on social change, with the aim of using inclusive, multiperspective and diverse communication to promote interactive dialogue and exchange. As a speaker, ShaNon accompanies teams in companies in their process development towards anti-racist organizations (like Amnesty International, the German Federal Police, GIZ). Her work as a life coach follows a systemic approach, focussing on personal development in an intercultural context.
The Conference Stage
We set strong topics, initiate discussions and bring you valuable input.
The closed stage can be visited through our fairly priced conference ticket. The regular festival entrance fee for the respective day is of course directly included.
We have a limited capacity, so it’s best to decide quickly.
Photo business & new trends – German Talks
On Friday, we will present a focused mix of talks for professional photographers on the Conference Stage. From general appreciation for the profession as a photographer, updates on current photo law, new production techniques and analog photography in professional use.
MAGNUM ON STAGE powered by DER SPIEGEL
On Saturday, September 3rd, we are looking forward to welcoming numerous Magnum photographers on stage. These talks are supported by journalists of DER SPIEGEL.
Open part
On Sunday we will also open the stage to the general festival crowd to offer more general talks and talks here.
