The BERLIN PHOTO WEEK, in cooperation with the well-known news magazine DER SPIEGEL, is proud to welcome a number of Magnum photographers to the Conference Stage on Saturday, 3 September 2022. 

DER SPIEGEL – politically independent, not affiliated with any business group, committed only to itself and its readers and users – has stood for investigative journalism for 75 years. Its editors set the news, provide context in an increasingly complex world and set the pace in public debate. This is the ideal combination to interview Magnum Photos’ great photographers on today’s burning issues. The photographers will be assigned an editor from SPIEGEL as an interview partner. The moderator will be Heike Ollertz, Professor of Photography at the European University of Applied Sciences UE:
